Sherlock paid no attention to the woman. He kept his eyes focused on his microscope until he looked up to jot down a quick note. He took a deep breath “Who are you?” he asked quickly.
Stephanie’s jaw clenched. “Stephanie King…” she said softly as she shifted from foot to foot. “You’re Sherlock Holmes I’m presuming” she said as she walked towards him.
Sherlock ran his eyes over her once. “What’s wrong with your knee?” he asked as he removed the slide that he’d previously been staring at with a new one.
“How did yo- amazing” she said softly. “Um work accident” she said quickly closing the space as she walked across the lab.
“Mhmm Cambridge… my year of graduation judging by your age” he paused to give her another once over. “You work at a coffee shop and book store, so you’re having a bit of trouble with some money” he said softly.
